Time to rejoice, peoples! Imogen Heap is our Executive Music Producer, and we are ecstatic! Imogen “really love[s] the idea of capturing a snapshot of the world in a day in music, sound, visual and story” – enough to collaborate on the soundtrack of the 11Eleven Project’s final documentary. Happy dance.

Last year, Imogen won the Grammy for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, for Ellipse.. and she’s no stranger to the concept of mixing sounds, either. Since March this year she’s transformed submitted ‘sound seeds’ – samples of everyday sounds, like those created by a burning match or a bicycle – into beautiful music.
We’ve got other established artists up our sleeve, too. Rounding off the award-winning line-up are Oscar-winning cinematographer Russell Boyd and Emmy award-winning Marcus Gillezeau. Both have been lending their support to the project, for which we are so grateful!

Not only will this documentary reflect a collective global narrative, but your personal representation – be it in the form of film, photograph, blog, music or sound – will also be creatively cut and mashed to make a photo book and music album. As all proceeds will be going to charity (more deets on that in tomorrow and Thursday’s post), this project is wholly in the name of artistic expression. It’s so exciting to have such talented people on board to give this project the recognition that it deserves. I can’t wait to see what these great minds will do with our raw ingredients!
I really like it when men and women arrive jointly and share opinions, excellent weblog, preserve it up.
